Wendy’s in Burleson, Tx, located on Alsbury, customer service sucks. This is just one experience I have had. Why I have continued to return is my fault. But we won’t have to worry about that anymore. I can assure you.
When I didn’t think the Burleson Wendy’s service could get any worse, today was a reminder that I should have seen it coming. My daughter and I actually have a running joke about how rude the person is going to be working the Burleson Alsbury Wendy’s window, and how many times we will have to repeat our order.
Then there was today.
My wife and I regretfully chose Wendy’s drive through window (as if going in would have been less bizarre), but who could blame us? It was raining cats and dogs. And little did we realize or notice (until it was too late) that after recent renovations there is no awning for cover ANYWHERE! Nothing at the intercom where I sat with my window down for at least several minutes.. with “DEAD Silence” No “I will be right with you”.. NOTHING!! So I had no choice but to go ahead and around after getting absolutely drenched, and getting the inside of my truck totally soaked.
To make matters worse, after driving around to the first window we learn Ashley was visiting and laughing with co-workers, and nowhere near the window. Then, get this.. when Ashley does see us she slowly walks to the window, watching me continue to get soaked, and then finally opens her window. So I take a deep breath to keep my cool, and give her our order while she continues to take her sweet ass time typing it in, and giving me my change. It was very strange because it almost felt as if she knew we were getting soaked, but yet did nothing to help matters, instead it appeared Ashley enjoyed watching us go through this. It was crazy.
It’s certainly not her fault that Wendy’s has chosen not to put up awnings to protect customers during bad weather, and other elements. However, having been in management for 15 years myself, your job as an employee is to make difficult matters better for your customers. Instead of picking it up our impression was she enjoyed taking her time so we would continue to get soaked. How else can you explain it?
Have you had a similar experience with the same or a different company? Lets put it this way. If I owned Wendy’s or any company, I would want to know. Wouldn’t you?
